Hey everybody, I’m trying to figure out my schedule for next year and it’s looking like there might be a conflict where I’m unable to take an AP exam on its initial date. Does the College Board offer makeup dates for AP exams, or do I need to reschedule everything to make sure I don’t miss my one chance to take the test?

The College Board understands that conflicts can arise, so they schedule makeup exam dates each year specifically for students who can't take the exam on the initially scheduled date. These are typically held a couple of weeks after the regular exam dates.
I suggest that you speak with your school’s AP Coordinator as soon as possible to inform them of your conflict. They will require a valid reason for your makeup request, such as a family member's wedding, and will then need to order alternate exams for you. It's also important to stay in touch with them throughout the year, because there might be some deadlines later on you'll need to meet.
